The evolution of towable composite coaches continues with the 2012 edition Earthbound (self-titled). The 2012 Earthbound had only one guiding principle – leave nothing out. We have gone to great lengths ensuring that the all new 2012 Earthbound stands above everything else, as the foundation of our brand, and as the standard by which modern towables are judged.
The 2012 Earthbound comes loaded with premium luxury – LED TV’s, upgraded HD capability with HDMI router, satellite prep, and interior LED lighting with dimmer switches – all standard. All of our power features, including tongue jack, stabilizing jacks, and awning, are standard. Two remote control rain-sensing vents are standard. A stainless microwave is standard. A stainless oven is standard. Imported dark-tint thermal pane windows, insulated and heated holding tanks, and our signature plumbing manifold come as they should – standard. Stopping power is dramatically increased with 3,500 lbs. disc brakes standard.
We take visual impression and tactile luxury very seriously, and our new Vita Premier Cabinet Systems are simply breathtaking. Created and Designed by Earthbound, Vita Premier Cabinet Systems integrate aluminum skins on all cabinet surfaces, in a rich cherry wood finish. The secret we won’t let out is how that cherry wood finish is fused directly into the metal. The result is an extremely luxurious texture, with superior durability and longevity. Beautiful hardware is imported from Italy, with unique overhead hinges which lock in position to open your cabinets without placing pressure on the doors.
Also new for 2012 are our premier Samsung composite solid surface countertops, featured standard in both the kitchen and lavatory. Machined to specification by our artisan craftsman, these composite countertops are significantly lighter in weight than granite, with textures just as rich, if not more so.
Further structural enhancements have significantly stiffened the coach. We’ve increased framing in our walls, roof, and floor. More importantly, however, are the benefits of our new structure-enhancing composite thermal substrates. Added to all four vacuum-bonded panels, these new substrates reduce frame-on-metal “hot spots”, stiffen the entire structure of the coach, and create the smoothest outer wall we’ve ever built. And don’t worry about added weight, even with all the new technology, you can still tow with your SUV.
Optional features for the 2012 Earthbound include wireless back-up camera, satellite dome for two receivers, instant on-demand water heater, and an advanced military-grade solar install. Our revolutionary “Sky View”™ Panoramic Windshield is now available as an option on all models. Base prices on the models range from $84,900 to $104,900, and $115,900 for the Montreal (“Sky View”™ standard).
